From sound
to sight.
Born in Germany’s Black Forest and raised in Sydney, Mars Lasar first explored art through large-format oil paintings and album-cover design.
His creative life also took him into music: platinum award-winning compositions for film and television, work with artists in Hollywood, and more than 30 solo albums. Today, that same attention to mood and composition finds expression through his lens.
The light of
Wine Country.
Working from his Napa studio, Mars captures a natural world that is colorful, whimsical, and magnificent. His Wine Country landscapes can be found in galleries, private estates, and wineries throughout the Napa Valley.
